Objectives:

·           Know the safe and correct methods of erecting System Scaffolds

·          To know the regulations governing the safe erection, inspection and dismantling of scaffolds and the  work methods to be adopted for the same

·           Determine the materials requirement for scaffolds

·           Lay out materials, set out the scaffolds and overcome obstacles to erect the scaffold safely

·           Ensure the scaffolds are constructed to statutory regulations following the safe system of work

Day 1:

·           Welcome and Centre Introduction

·           Introduction to Working Safely on Site

·           Use of Personnel Fall Arrest Equipment on site

Day 2:

·           Core Components of System Scaffolds

·           Erection/Dismantling of Bridgecage Scaffolds

·           Erection/Dismantling of Independent Scaffolds
