Who should attend?
The NEBOSH National Diploma is a prestigious and demanding professional qualification for those wanting to forward their career in Occupational Health and Safety Practice. Now firmly established as the UK's leading qualification for health and safety professionals, the NEBOSH Diploma is rapidly being recognised internationally as the standard for health and safety professionals.
There are no barriers to entry to the NEBOSH Diploma but it is highly recommended that those seeking to start the Diploma should have achieved the NGC or equivalent before starting on the Diploma Programme.
Objectives:
To provide specialist knowledge and understanding to provide students with the expertise required to undertake a career as a safety and health practitioner.
Course Content:
The syllabus consists of 4 units that are separately assessed; units A – C are by written examination. In addition to this are also workplace based assignments.
The units:
· A - Managing Health and Safety
· B - Hazardous Agents
· C - Workplace and Work Equipment Safety
· D - Application of health and safety theory and practice
The above all encompass provision of safe systems of work, including permit to work application and safe working procedures, legal aspects and monitoring and reviewing techniques.
Course Assessments:
Units are separately assessed; units A – C are by written examination. In addition to this are also workplace based assignments.
